ChairmanKurt KelseyM.S., CPESC, CPSWQAmerican Excelsior Company BiographyMr. Kurt Kelsey is employed by American Excelsior Company - Earth Science Division - Arlington, TX, as the Division Director. Mr. Kelsey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Water Resources with an emphasis in Watershed Science and a minor in Soil Science from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and a Masters of Science in Natural Resources with an emphasis in Soil and Water Science from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Mr. Kelsey is CPESC and CPSWQ certified. He has worked on numerous erosion and sediment control projects and has authored and co-authored a plethora of papers and articles related to the field. He is an active member of ASTM where he serves on the D18 Executive Committee and he is Chairman of the D18.25 Committee on Erosion and Sediment Control Technology. Mr. Kelsey is active with the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) where he serves on their Erosion and Sediment Control Educational Track. Mr. Kelsey is the industry liaison to the National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP) Technical Committee on Erosion Control Products and Sediment Retention Devices. Mr. Kelsey is currently serving as Chairman of the Erosion Control Technology Council (ECTC).

She has played an integral role in the development of the company and new product designs. Diane is the erosion control industry liaison for the NTPEP program and holds the position of Treasurer for the Erosion Control Technology Council. She currently serves as a member on the IECA Event Planning and Finance Committees. She is an active member of the ASTM, ECTC and IECA. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Albright College.

From large disturbance, linear, and single-family construction to restoration and emergency landslide repair, his experiences add to informative trainings on real world issues for construction site and facility operators, inspectors, and designers. Alex has been helping project teams succeed by planning for the productive and compliant completion of varied construction and restoration projects. Alex has been recognized by various associations and agencies for his professional course preparation and delivery. Developing custom trainings for audiences as varied as Alaska Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska Department of Transportation, South Dakota Solid Waste Management Association, Building Industry Association of Washington, North Dakota Solid Waste & Recycling Association, Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, Northwest Territories Department of Transportation, and the British Columbia Erosion and Sediment Control Association. Alex stays up to date and informed on the latest regulations and compliance challenges. He was a past recipient of the Educational Achievement award by the International Erosion Control Association.
