While she is becoming more of a presence in the industry, it is what she does behind the scenes that have the biggest impact. Lisa quietly provides technical assistance and training to SWPPP designers, and perhaps the most important role she fills is implementation of the East Coast Erosion Control Quality Control/Quality Assurance program. Her knowledge is invaluable consulting customer projects and especially in the product development activities of ECEC as we look to launch new products and face down new challenges in erosion control field. Everyone on the East Coast Erosion team loves hearing Lisa’s stories about the little ones back home, AnnMarie and Drew. A great mom and the stories to match! Lisa Simms has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Auburn University. She is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia and a Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control. Her consulting experience includes 7 years of civil site design, 2 years of geotechnical & construction materials testing and has also spent 8 years in technical sales.

In the short two years Lisa has been the Technical Sales Manager of East Coast Erosion Control, Lisa has had a profound impact not only of East Coast Erosion, but the industry as a whole. She quickly became a familiar face leading the industry with involvement with ASTM, IECA and ECTC.
